Hi! I am currently debating on taking korean(KOR 506, first-year korean I) at UT. Is it an easy A? or a grade I have to work for?

I have yet to take Korean (I’m planning on it), but I’ve heard that it’s one of the easier languages to take at UT.

Korean should be good. If you want to make good grade just stay away from any popular language (Spanish, French…). I take American Sign Language and so far love it, small class size (around 18), rarely have any homework, all the teachers in the department are very friendly (and they curve).

I want to take Korean at UT too. I’m Korean but pretty much don’t know any korean. I’m deciding between ASL, korean, & latin…I took latin for two years but we didn’t learn anything b/c the teacher didn’t care. Which Lang. Would be easiest…?

If you are Korean then it would makes the most sense for you to study Korean language. Korean is more useful than ASL or Latin, and furthermore it would be wonderful that you have a connection to your root.
