I don't know if a thread of this kind is permitted, but I think knowing people from similar backgrounds will make my visit to UCSD less frightening and nerve-wracking! Sooooo is there anybody from Korea that is going to attend UCSD this fall!? </p>

<p>Let me clarify something for the OP. </p>
<p>UC San Diego may as well be named UC Seoul Diego. You will hear AT LEAST 5 conversations in Korean within 5 minutes of walking around campus.</p>

i actually hear them everyday. regardless of where i am on campus.</p>
