<p>That’s true of any fries, though. The only good time to eat them is within 10 minutes after they come out of the fryer - anything else and they either get hugely dry (if not wrapped up), or just soggy (if wrapped up).</p>
<p>As much as I hate to admit it, McDonald’s makes the best fries of the major chains, and even theirs have a half-life of 15-20 mins tops.</p>
