If I live in Kresge, will I be able to prepare my own meals since there's a kitchen?? And does that mean that i dont need to get a mean plan and i could just get a certain amount of flexi dollars?

Everyone living on campus (except the village) is required to have a meal plan. You can use the kitchen to your heart’s content, but you will be paying for a meal plan no matter what. I think the minimal is 5-day, but they might let you buy a block of 55 meals instead.

that sucks. im really worried about the food there.

The food at the dining halls is pretty darn good with plenty of variety. I even know someone with baddd allergies to eggs, and he has no trouble finding food to eat at the dining halls.

The only time I’ve ever eaten at a dining hall on campus was winter orientation, and that was a damn good breakfast. I was totally satisfied. You can’t go wrong with all you can eat bacon, haha. It’d be ridiculous to worry so much about the food. People exaggerate, vosamin, so I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. The only place I really here complaints about the food is on here (though, I live off-campus, so maybe I just miss all the complaints, haha).
