LA Dodgers vs. NY Yankees

LA Dodgers have the best record in Baseball right now, with the best franchise start in many decades. NY Yankees are doing pretty bad, one of the worst starts in many years.

Who do you think will win in a hypothetical matchup right now?

Sorry, Chicago White Sox have the best record in baseball, get your facts straight. They are 13-4 right now, LAD is 12-4.

Hmm... both are pretty close. I'd say right now they're pretty much neck and neck.

We could try to argue that the Dodgers have been playing harder games, but then you have Minnesota, who aren't doin' half bad at keeping the White Sox busy.

Then again, I think NL West is better balanced overall, just based on pure stats.

Either way, it's nice to see the Yankees and Giants both sucking.

The Yankees are in their yearly beginning of the season slump. Happens every year and people are like haha, then they start winning and the rest is history. Once the Yankees get their game on its gonna be good, but until then we shall suck.

The Yankees do always start off slow, but then have ended slow for the past 4 seasons.

The Dodgers have gotten off to this fast as a start only 2 other times in franchise history. I am a life long Dodger fan so I have to say Go Blue!

The White Sox are always hot to begin the season. Then they collapse after the all star break...it happens every year and they end up losing the division by about 10 games to Minnesota.

I'm thrilled to see the Dodgers doing this well! I would love to see them win another World Series, it's been a long time for us. Last time Dodgers won it all I was 3, and not much into Baseball.

The Red Sox own you all.

Oh, and MLB extra innings is the most amazing thing ever for true baseball fans. Not that I'm really paying attention to the As/Angels game...

Ahem...in 2003, the White Sox were about 5 games under .500 at the All-Star Break, then they got really hot and had the best record in the majors in August and just barely stumbled at the end, still managing to finish 10 games over .500. You don't know what you are talking about.

The Yankees would like to announce that they are sick and tired of all the talk being centered around them.

They have decided to lay low for a while and let the conversation drift, to the Dodgers, White Sox and Nationals.

By the end of August, the Red Sox will fade, the Yankees will be sitting pretty on top of the AL East and the Nationals will be the Expos.

Watch those Mets though, I'm rooting for another Subway Series.

Although I like the Dodgers, I think they will fade, finishing the season with about 85 wins

I just love to see the Yankees losing.
