<p>i need schools with either BA/BFA in theater in socal (LA/OC area) with an emphasis on acting (for film) Please don't list any of the UC schools as I do not wish to attend, unless its UCLA.</p>

There’s not much in our region when it comes to acting schools!
There’s plenty of Non-degree programs in LA though…although I don’t know which ones provide good training…there’s so many, it’s hard to tell!</p>
<p>Yes, USC has a BA in Theatre (with various emphases: acting, tech, directing…) and a BFA in Acting. We also have a musical theatre minor that can be taken in conjunction with the BA degree only (BFA requires too many units and is therefore more restricting in the amount of outside units you can take).</p>

<p>doesn’t USC require a bunch of weird general ed courses? because I have already finished my GEs (igetc) and i really don’t want to take more unnecessary classes. haha.</p>
<p>USC does require GE classes, two writing classes, and a diversity requirement. It is certainly possible that some of your GEs may transfer?</p>
<p>I meant to say SIX GE classes plus the writing, and the diversity is a “flag” that you can get with one of your GEs.</p>
