Do they offer any..? Or does the college of Natural Sciences (I think there is such a college, lol)?
I listed my first choice major as Arabic, which I sincerely regret now. I have several friends who would never really consider UT but were offered 10k per year in engineering, and I wouldn't mind getting an engineering degree if it was half the cost.

I also plan to double or triple major, so i didn't think listing my first choice major as Arabic would have such an effect as preventing me from getting any scholarships. If I change schools while at UT, is it possible to get scholarships I would have qualified for if I had originally applied to those schools?

What are your stats?
You sound like your pretty confident so they better be pretty good.

haha I didn’t realize how I came off until I read your comment and reread my post. I guess I kind of was inspired by the son of one of my teachers I met who graduated with a 4.0 and four majors (in four years) at UT and got a Marshall scholarship to Oxford, finished his PhD at Princeton last fall and is currently doing post-doc research for Harvard… but as for my stats they’re competitive I guess- 2360SAT, 35 ACT, 6 subject tests ranging 750-790, 6 5’s on Ap, 4.0 etc…

but anyways does no one know anything about LA scholarships?

I guess that’s a no for scholarships…

does anyone know if all LA Honors students get housing on the honors quad?

cjester - I believe that LAH students get to live in the Honors quad if they apply for it and there is room available.
