<p>just take amtrak. bus to union station.</p>
<p>take the amtrak pacific surfliner to union station
there's a big-blue-bus stop straight across the street from union station (800 Alameda)
take big-blue-bus #10 to Santa Monica / Bundy
take big-blue-bus #1 to UCLA</p>
<p>each bus ride is $0.25 with valid bruin card</p>
<p>same itinerary back to san diego</p>
<p>Do NOT take the Greyhound from LA to Sand Diego! I did that once, and it was such a pain in the ass. The price for one-way trip was ~$20, but not worth it. Take the amtrak.</p>
