LA valley college or LA mission college

which college is better i mean study wise and students who are study minded and well for fun too so what would u valley college or mission college?

More opportunities at Valley. I personally like Pierce though but that might be too far.

mission is smaller and I think valley has more classes and is a bit more organized overall. I enjoyed my time at Valley and every time I had to go to Mission, it was a headache.

LA Mission almost screwed my admission to UCSD. They didn't send my transcripts on time (that I paid for) and UCSD withdrew my admission because of it. I had to appeal and almost didn't get back in.

Pierce > LAVC > LAMC

sbcc>pierce

by a long shot.

If you're considering colleges, I would look at the campus, the course catalog and the schedule. Do they have classes in your major? Do they have interesting electives? Having an interesting elective to take can make your semester MUCH more fun! In visiting the campus I would look to see if they have good student and transfer services and how their facilities are (especially if you are a science major). I hear PCC is good, too.

I've been to all 3. I much prefer Mission over Valley and Pierce. You get more interaction with your professors, and the class sizes are generally smaller.

Only trouble I had with my transcript was that it didn't say I was IGETC certified (mission). Other than that, all of my trouble transferring came from dealing with the pierce administration.

what is sbcc? yea well i am opting for valley college only although i have to travel 1 hour for it :-(

santa barbara city college.
move out of your house.
get a job.
ditch your car to save money.
find a roommate on craigslist in a HOUSE in iv.
enroll at sbcc.
don't let the partying get to your head.
enjoy.

grab the bull by the balls, man.
you won't regret it.

pinker i'm planning on going to city, any thoughts/opinions about it?
