'Lab Science' Courses

As I've been noticing, a lot of upper-tier colleges require 3 science classes and all of those need be 'lab science' courses.

I have taken biology, chemistry, and taking AP Environmental Science this year.
However, I am not scheduled for physics.

Is it necessary for me to take physics this year or will APES, biology, and chemistry suffice for the required 3 lab courses?

You’re fine, as long as you’re APES isn’t completely textbook based. Physics is never required.

APES will suffice but Physics would make you look more competitive due to
the ES AP reputation.
