Many colleges state you need 3 years of lab science. Are there certain science classes that are designated as "lab science" I am in my 3rd year of sceince but it is an evironmental science class. We do some lab work but very very little, does this still qualify?

Environmental science is a lab science.

What are not lab sciences are "flaky" sciences like culinary science and "medical" science (excluding a class dedicated to anatomy.)

Here are examples of lab sciences: biology, chemistry, physics, astrology, environmental science, Earth science, geology

I think the lab sciences refer to any subject that falls in one of the three categories
Physics: or subjects with Physics as a pre requistes e.g (Electronics, Nuclear Physics)
Chemistry or subjects with Chemistry as a pre requistes e.g. (Organic/Inorganic Chemistry)
Biology or subjects with Biology as a pre requistes e.g (Evironmental Science, Anatomy)

ok cool, thanks guys.
