I applied to Yale 2 days ago EA. I gave everything to my GC and he sent it out, but forgot to put "Early Action" on the front of the envelope. Is this a problem? Will they see that I checked Restrictive Early Action on the common app? What should I do?

I'm sure it will be okay. It probably happens ALL the time.

This merits a full four stars on the CC Paranoia scale! LOL

Don't sweat it jmt.

I am guessing they throw the envelopes in the trash as soon as they open them. I think they will go by what you checked off on the application.

thanks. paranoia must be screwing with my mind

yeah, labeling only makes it faster for them to place in the right pile

lol at least now i know that I'm not the only one lmao

My son put the wrong label on his Stanford envelope (right address, wrong packet content header) but couldn't face his counselor who reprimanded him for being too late for EA although he made the very first appointment she opened up for the school year. Being a perfectionist I started freaking out, but he said, "Hey, it goes to the right place. They see what it is and put it in the right pile." Hoping he's right...
