I'm not a big Uni person and I am bound (well...other than Madison as my safety) to go to an LAC. No, not able to get into Chicago. Just a standard LAC.

I want to double major in history and econ and then go into business.

As a career title; financial analyst or some sort of job that includes practical research and planning/investing.

So am I screwed? Will I receive offers for jobs?

You will receive job offers. No, you’re not screwed.

Keep in mind that Chicago itself doesn’t even offer an undergrad degree in business. They just go off of econ as well and communications, possibly even computer tech as well.

i mean, an example is if you go to www.ibm.com and hit careers, pick ECOn as a major and it has a bunch of jobs your qualified for.

worst comes to worst get a MSF after undergrad

It might be a little more beneficial to do Econ/Stats rather than Econ/History since it’s a little more applicable to business, but it’s really up to you.
