<p>Has anyone ever done anything similar. I spent my first year at a top 100 LAC, but now I'm going to community college with the hope of transferring to a top 25 or at least 40 school. The fact that I'm going to be transferring three times in the end, is this going to hurt me?</p>
<p>No, but it may raise eyebrows as to why you are going back to a community college. I am a community college student but I know they are not quite reguarded as some of the most prestigious institutions 
If it is something you have to do then go for it, if not.. i’d recommend sticking it out another year at your current school and transferring after that. After you get your BA/BS you won’t have any problems, colleges also realize you HAVE to transfer coming out of a community college, and if they accept you as a junior you really can’t transfer out your senior year.</p>
