I was wondering how badly only 2 years of a foreign language would affect my acceptance to wharton. I also was only able to take Algebra I as a freshman(due to rules of my school district), therefore not able to take higher level math courses. However, I am good at math, so I plan on taking a few classes at the community college this summer, such as Calculus and College Algebra. How much will this boost my chances?
The reason I only took 2 years of a language is because I struggled with having a bad teacher, and was having a very hard time learning the language myself. Would it be a good idea for me to take a language at the community college this summer as well? Do you think it would be enough time for me to be able to possibly do okay on the SAT II's? Or is the language thing not worth it..

I think as long as you take BC Calculus at some point before graduating you'll be fine

Would BC Calc be the same as Calc II in community college?a

i believe so. and i believe (if you are interested in going further), calc III would correspond with the following major topics: differential equations, partial derivatives, and i believe 3-D vector analysis. im not sure how much more there is to calc III. but yea, im pretty sure calc II covers the BC material. double check with your guidance counselor though ;)

don't worry about math that much. i know two wharton people taking 103 this year. take as much as you can but don't stress.
