How's my list? I know i've got a lot of reaches, I'm hoping SD will be my safety :)

You don't have a chance. Sorry.

J/k. Relax. You have a good chance in those colleges, but I suggest you to find more safety schools just in case. Good luck!

UCLA: Match
UCSD: Safe Match

Thanks, what safety schools would you suggest?!

Wow, stats like yours make me cry.

I'm hoping to make it to the AIME...except I would probly suck on it, those questions scare me. But I love math and I want to understand how to do those crazy questions. I need to start studying, I only have a couple months!

Imo you have a good chance at all those schools.

Northwestern - IN
WashU - IN, but u might be waitlisted if u need financial aid
UCLA - IN if cali resident, even if ur aren't, ur in
UCSD - IN
Harvey Mudd - IN
Cornell - IN
Brown - maybe
UPenn - maybe
Princeton - idk, do u got anything they want, a talent, some dinero idk? lol jk
Dartmouth - its very probable

you got the stats for any of these places

wat4t:

Assuming you are a California resident,
UCLA: Match
UCSD: Safe Match

flospy, its more like an absolute SAFETY, both of them.

lol I'm not so sure about UCLA being a safety ;)

I was hoping that UCSD would be more of a safety for me though, as it's the only one I have :p

bball87:

You never know about UCLA... They may reject wat4t if he isn't a California resident, or if he is applying for the School of Engineering. Who knows -- the adcoms might even reject him just to pre-emptively increase UCLA's yield rate...

Edit: Also, change my above recommendation for UCSD...
UCSD: Safety

Wow, flopsy changed his mind, the sky is falling!!

wat4t, I would definitely get another safety school or two if I were you.. as for suggestions, you might want to try NYU or USC or something like that, not sure what you want to study..

hmm I might consider those schools! Thanks a bunch! Bump

oh BTW, for awards...I think you can put down AP National Scholar

Oh right, I forgot about that :) thanks

wow your ec's are absolutely dismal

lol.....? I don't think princeton is just looking for people who do things to put on their college apps ;)

bump :)....

bizzzumppp

but the problem is that you haven't done ANYTHING. YOur list is way too top heavy. Assuming you live in Cali, I'm guessing you will spend your next four years at Cal or UCLA

I'm curious, I haven't done anything? You do mean I haven't played three instruments in four bands, played a varsity sport for most of high school, started a club, spent a whole summer teaching kids science, done pretty well in school and quite well on my SATs and absolutely owned my APs? Last time I checked there is only 2 intel finalists per state ;)

I remember looking around on here a while ago and seeing someone who was similar to me who people said had a great chance everywhere..
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=110420
I also see that you gave him a 90% (or even more, not sure if you're saying he has no chance at JF or not) at Penn ED. I'm curious, what's the difference between him and me?

Sorry if I sound angry or anything, but I don't take kindly to phrases like "absolutely dismal" to describe my hard work in high school.

I forgot to include, I have legacy at Dartmouth
