i'm a senior in high school and my shyness is my excuse for not pursing leadership roles. however, it seems that most scholarships (and colleges for that matter) require tons of leadership to win awards. the only leadership i've had are jv basketball co-captain, sga homeroom rep (2 years), and if these count instructing middle school volleyball teams with volleyball skills and being part of a committee that put a program together. do you think my lack of leadership roles will prevent me from winning scholarships?
