I'm interested in playing lacrosse next year for college and have no idea what kind of stick I should buy. Though I've played ice hockey all my life, it seems as if there are some slight differences. What's a good place to buy lacrosse stuff from?

Do you have a local store? The people are usually very helpful. I always bought mine at Midwest lacrosse, but I quit two years ago. :)

Can someone explain all the rules and stuff? And how to get in shape? Important skills? I know there's a lot of running involved. I'm interested in trying out next year, and I wanna make it! (it will be my hs team)

Run 5 or 6 days a week. It might not be the time of your life at first, but if you run long term, it's very obvious to the coaches. Play around with your stick a lot. Get used to the feel of it. Play wallball. It really improves catching. Practice running with your stick.
