LACs/small universities with a cognitive science major?

I know this is a pretty specific major and mainly applies to bigger universities.. but are there any LACs or small universities that offer it as a major? I'm looking for a small town location, and anywhere north of north carolina.

Thanks!

Dartmouth or U of Richmond might be what you’re looking for. Yale, UVA, and Case also offer the major but don’t fit one or the other of your criteria.

Perhaps Univ. of Rochester and Vassar.

Is that similar to Neuroscience? William & Mary offers that and it is a small/medium public school in Virginia in a medium-town-like City of Williamsburg.

Alternatively, you could major in psychology and select supporting courses in neuroscience, linguistics, philosophy, and computer science.

Hampshire College doesn’t really have majors but they do have a School of Cognitive Science

EDIT: And it is in a very small town rural area in Amherst, Massachusetts. It’s a small LAC.

Bard College has a cognitive science program - “Cognitive science at Bard is a secondary major that requires a student to complete a primary major as well as the requirements for the cognitive science degree.”

If you’re interested in cogsci, you may be interested in Duke (very good neuroscience dpt). Duke is a relatively small school with a pretty nice and unique balance between an undergraduate focus/access to the graduate schools.

Swarthmore, Carleton, Pomona, Wellesley, Rice, Hampshire, Whitman, and Macalester all have some kind of program (major, minor, concentration, interdisciplinary certificate). There must be others as well.

Macalester has a Neuroscience Studies Major Program. Its website is [Neuroscience: Macalester College](Explore the biology and psychology of the nervous system as a Neuroscience major at Macalester College.)
