LACs with good job prospects (Finance)

I have been warming up to the idea of going to LAC. I'm also pretty sure that I want to go into Finance/Consulting/IB. What are some reputable LACs that are well recruited and well represented on Wall Street etc.

Amherst and Williams fit my criteria I think, as does Claremont McKenna. I've also heard Middlebury does too? Thoughts on these, suggestions for more?

I think Colgate has a lot of representation on Wall Street.

I agree about Colgate. Look at the New york schools. Are you a girl (likely not lol)? Wellesley, Mt Holyoke and Barnard would fit the bill. Vassar is also very good. They send “some” people to IBs. Washington and lee and Bowdoin send a significant number of people to IBs though W&L is mainly JP Morgan and a couple of southern boutiques IBs.

LACs (maybe with a couple of exceptions) in general aren’t good for finance; it’s better if you plan to attend medical/law schools or get a PhD. That being said, in addition to the already mentioned schools, Colby’s pretty good. I’ve met quite a few capable people from Colby.

I would look ay Dartmouth, it’s really a LAC and has better recruiting for these jobs than any school on the LAC list.

Holy Cross and Colgate have strong Wall Street alumni networks. HC has nicer location -1 hour from Boston while Colgate is more remote.
