Ladies at Berkeley

I've heard bad things about them. How're their personalities and looks?

Rick, what is the personality and look of California? There's probably 15,000 women here, so its a little naive to ask about them as if they're all the same.

i don't see how one could generalize the personalities and looks of thousands and thousands of female undergraduates. personally, when i came here, i never noticed the 'ugly factor' that was made so infamous by (gasp) people who don't even attend school here. berkeley is a very diverse place - there is no way a single university could attract a strictly unattractive crowd. ive seen many guys i've been attracted to, and have made friends with several geniune and good looking girls. i dont see the problem.

they are all ugly here, while all girls at ucla are model-quality

/sarcasm

how many threads have we had on this topic?

it's obviously an important topic if ppl keep making threads about it

Maybe it's just an overrated topic.

Yeah, this question pops up too much. You've got thousands of girls that are all 18-22, It's reasonable to say that a good number of them will be attractive.

Okay -

Myth: All Berkeley girls are ugly.

Fact: Berkeley girls are not "Hot" in the traditional sense. They don't doll themselves up in tons of makeup, expensive, but skimpy clothes, or all that other stuff that the media defines as "attractive", especially when its not practical. They're intelligent about it. Sure, there are some ugly ones -- both in mind and body, but they are few and far in between. Find someone you connect with on a psychological and spiritual level and not on the basis of physical attraction.

....these topics are no longer allowed on this board by decree of the 4th year who is sick of hearing people whine about it.

i have actually seen several girls who have dolled themselves up in lots of makeup and expensive, skimpy clothing...mostly for thursday night fraternity parties, but you get the point. for the most part, girls have a better fashion sense than that, thank god.
