DD cried for two reasons… she loved the acceptance letter felt so seen. Mentally began her journey as a leopard in those moments. We were so excited and proud. Then saw zero aid and zero merit - shocked and sad because we can’t even begin to afford it … .
Just closing the loop for anyone on WL, my DD has accepted her offer elsewhere. She was offered a Marquis Scholarship which also played into her decision because Lafayette affirmed that it would go to another deserving student. Best of luck to all!
PS. I will always have a soft spot because the Lafayette acceptance letter was unparalleled in terms of making my daughter feel like her application had been seen, appreciated and rewarded. It was such a personalized communication. Bravo to Lafayette admissions.
