Lafayette Cadets at Lehigh ROTC

<p>My son is considering applying for an ROTC scholarship at Lafayette. If he receives the scholarship, Lehigh would be his ROTC "host" school and he'd go there for batallion training, etc. </p>

<p>Considering that Lehigh's ROTC housing probably supports a tight-kint group and rivalry between these two schools is legendary, I have to wonder if Laf cadets are on equal footing in the batalion.</p>

<p>Can anyone describe the culture of Lehigh/Laf ROTC? Is it balanced? Cliquey? Cohesive? </p>

<p>After looking around some more, I learned that the Lehigh ROTC program includes 12 schools: Laf, Lehigh, and 10 others. It’s not just Laf and Lehigh, which is what made me nervous. </p>

<p>I knew someone who did it back in my day with no problem… but that was 20+ years ago, ha ha. Although the rivalry was just as fierce back then!</p>
