Hmm… I have not received and e-mail or a letter from Lafayette. Strange, especially since I only live in New York.

Congratulations to the accepted students. Hope to see you guys here in the fall.

PS Engineering is pretty damned awesome here :)

Link0306, regular decision letters are being sent to US applicants this week. Just hang on a few more days!

I saw that some of the internationals could not access their portal and were accepted. Should i be worried that i can stilll access mine?

Under award history mine now says this:

NOTE: The following may not be properly reflected under the “Paid to Date” column:

Stafford Loan Adjustments
HELP loans
Outside Scholarships
State Grant (other than Pennsylvania)
Tuition Benefits

No award history is available for you at this time, please contact your financial aid office if you have questions

(In Red Bolded BTW)

Mine still says nothing. but no award histroy

On Greg MacDonald’s twitter it says:

“One more week until we mail decisions! The admissions & fin aid offices are like Santa’s workshop!”

(this was on March 18th)

FYI - My son’s detailed aid letter came a week after his acceptance.

This wait is killing me

No word here yet. Live in NY.

Admissions said that letters are being mailed today.

@bonnienewjersey

Is everything only available via regular mail or will/have they post/ed any information electronically?

I think it is regular mail only.

Thank you BonnieNewJersey (we are in NJ as well).

Do acceptances and marquis scholarships come out in stages? I was accepted ED to Lafayette in the middle of December, and I’m from NJ. Is there any chance I might still get the Marquis Scholarship in the mail today or later, or did I definitely not get it. (if it matters, my stats are 4.6 wghtd gpa and 2180 SAT-680CR, 760M, 740W).

Thanks.

S was accepted today - 5 for 5, he’s very happy. However, Lafayette offered him only 1/3 of the scholarship/grant money (and about 1/2 the package) that RPI, WPI and Drexel all offered.

Given the huge disparity in offers, there’s simply no possible way to justify attending Lafayette.

My S received an envelope today (we are in NJ) in the mail from Lafayette. It isn’t a large envelope (e.g., 8 1/2 by 11) which generally contains the good news. It is a business sized envelope which typically brings negative news. However, we remain hopeful as the “small” envelope appears to contain mutiple pages. Good luck to everyone who has been waiting since the notifications have indeed begun to arrive.

English - A small envelope with more than one page usually means wait list at most colleges.

Ya i just got the waitlisted fat letter.

Accepted from central New Jersey! :)

My letter was in an 8.5 x 11 sized envelope. Inside, I recieved two folders. One with information about my acceptance and one with financial aid information.

Congratulations to everyone who got in!
