<p>I thought the article kind of misrepresented Lafayette. The comments were very diverse and interesting. D will be attending Lafayette next year with Marquis Scholarship. She was down to 2 schools and I let her choose. I would have had to pay full tuition at the other. While I was happy to save some money, this was never discussed between us and I don’t necessarily think it was a big part of her decision. After visiting on Marquis Scholars day, she just felt that Lafayette was the school for her. If she hadn’t attended that day, she probably would not have chosen Lafayette.
