I hear a lot of good things about the sciences and engineering at Lafayette… But how strong are departments such as history and political science? If you or a friend majored in a social science or humanities area, what did you think of it?
@TheGreyKing I myself am a sophomore engineering major but one of the reasons I came to lafayette is because someone introduced me to it as a liberal arts school with a great science and engineering program. Several of my friends are either history or govt/law majors and absolutely love it here. I’ve taken a govt class and one of the most interesting things about it was the professor. He has a 40 page long resume because he has held several government offices and such. We have a lot of passionate professors and classes are usually 10-30 students (maybe more like 10-20 for specific liberal arts classes) so it’s definitely a good program from what my friends have said. Feel free to inbox me if you want more specifics or me to give you names of my friends or professors who are in those fields.
