How long do you think it would take for something from Lafayette to get to Hawaii?
Why they always make international student feel inferior
Of the acceptances did any have merit?
DS accepted - mail just arrived. I did not open envelope but acceptance on the cover. He applied to engineering. BTW - he could not sign up or gain access to accepted students day as of Saturday so don’t despair.

@IWentToCollege our informed delivery only shows what we’re getting today and we often get more than what is scanned. It’s a very imperfect system, so maybe it’s coming tomorrow!
That informed delivery is lame-o! It gives me incredible amounts of stress.
@MammaDel can you share stats?
DS Accepted - Arts and Sciences. Don’t have any other details as waiting for him to get home and open it
SAT 1450/ GPA 4.0 UW
Has anyone received an award with their acceptance letter so far?

As a service to the poor parents of 2020, who are definitely checking this thread about a year from now to figure out what’s going on (while we are all enjoying a wonderful spring with our kids happy at some college), it would be nice to figure out how the farthest away from Lafayette which got mail today, and the nearest to Lafayette who did not get mail today. So, if you did and you think you’re far away, let us know. And if you didn’t and you think you are not that far away, post as well.
It’s our gift to the parents of the HS class of 2020.
DS accepted - 1410 SAT (780 Math) 3.6 UW APs and Honors. All state athlete 2 years in row, 2 varsity sport captain, unique in depth physics/astronomy extra curricular, awards and leadership positions, volunteer. I can’t open packet because he wants to when he gets back next week.
This entire college process is gut wrenching I know every student on this blog is extremely deserving and top notch. Know that I wish all of you the best wherever you decide to go.
