Lafayette Early Decision 2013 2014

Has anyone heard anything back?

I applied for ED 1 and am anxiously waiting. I heard we get the letters back on the 15th, which is a sunday (no mail); anyone know if we will get them before that or after.

Would be cool to start a Lafayette 2013-2014 Early decision thread

I do not have a definite date on when you will receive your ED letter, but from what I hear, they are finalizing their decisions!

Also, feel free to “like” and take a look at the Lafayette College Prospectives Facebook page! It’s a new page run by current students who post new content everyday. They are also online to answer any questions that you may have! You can learn all sorts of cool stuff about Lafayette from it. Simply search “Lafayette College Prospectives” on Facebook and you will find it!

Good luck!

Early decisions will be mailed tomorrow.

Thanks for the info bp0001…How do you know this? And any idea how long it will take to get to southern New York?

Does Lafayette send an email too? Or is it only by mail? Because there’s a good chance the letter won’t get to me until Monday if it’s being mailed tomorrow.

Newnorg, they posted it on the Prospectives facebook page that captainclueless mentioned.

bazinga9, Thanks for letting me know, and Lafayette stays classy with mail notifications only. Monday it is for us both I assume. =/

If you are a native student, the decisions will be mailed,
If you are an international student, the decisions will be e-mailed.

However, I think they try to make sure that both parties get their decisions on the same day. For that, they ‘e-mail’ the decisions to internationals only 2-3 days after the decision letters have been mailed to US students.

Ah, thanks! And newnorg, I guess it depends on when they mail it on Friday. If they get it on a truck Friday morning it might come during the day on Saturday. Fingers crossed at least :)

FINGERS CROSSED!! Best of luck btw, hopefully we’ll be classmates ;)

Uhh I spent hours on my computer expecting email from Lafayette.
Then I got one and it turned out to be a happy holiday wish  ( which holiday is it btw?)

I do hope Lafayette will email internationals as soon as they mail natives. After all the sooner the better right
FINGERS CROSSED !:D

OH MY GOD! I have been staring at my phone, refreshing my email every two seconds n I finally got an email but all it said was “happy holidays” :frowning: I

honestly can’t wait any longer to find out if I got into my dream school. it’s so nerve wracking :frowning: Hope we hear back soon.

oh and good luck to all of you :D

The acceptances letters are lovely and personalized so it makes the wait worth it (or almost worth it?) in the end. Good luck to everyone.

My mail didn’t have the letter today. Ugh, I guess that I’ll find out on Monday. The anticipation is killing me. Good Luck Everyone (Possible Future Classmates) !

Hang tight guys! The ED decisions were indeed mailed yesterday. I saw them in the admissions office waiting to be picked up! I took a picture of them as well–they are on the Lafayette College Prospectives Facebook page. I encourage you to join!

captainclueless Do you know when will international students receive their notifications? I’m dying in waiting here :((

rinkaki04,

I have contacted some of the admissions directors but they have not gotten back to me yet–people have asked me on the prospectives page as well.

I’ll let you know as soon as I have an answer!

Taylor

Thank you very much  I guess it would be tomorrow

rinkaki04,

I feel your pain because I’m in Ethiopia right now. but I contacted admission and they said mails to only domestic students were sent Friday and that we will be getting emails first thing Monday.

Good Luck :D

SAYMITI,
Tks and gluck to you too  Hope that we’re gonna be schoolmates :)

12.5 hours to go. Let us pray, my dear friends
