@buffaloman2018 did you get any acceptances? and don’t worry, rejections don’t define our worth tbh. This is not the end of the world, we’ll come back stronger next time. They won’t have any choice BUT to take us. Something will definitely work out for us, we got this. <3

@nonameleft I got 1 acceptance at manhattanville college but I have a 29k balance that I cant afford and got waitlisted at St Olaf…and about 12 rejections? I even lost count and thats right we will come back stronger! thank you for the kind and comforting words!! my only focus is on LAFAYETTE NOW!!
some of you waitlisted or rejected have great credentials-maybe too good? In any event, you are amazing and accomplished and will succeed wherever you go. remember that so much of the outcome is from variables you cannot control-like location, gender, interests. So there are simply too many applying with great credentials and they need to balance the class. it is NO reflection on you-great candidates and future students!

@Uscmama8 Son had a 1430 SAT and 3.82 UW GPA (had some AP and honors classes). He just opened his package and read his letter. While I think his stats are good, it appears that his essays and extracurriculars are what really got him his acceptance. They were referenced specifically in the letter, which was a wonderful touch.

Yes, totally! My close friend got also into Drexel with 42K scholarship and 3 co-ops( check your co-ops, that might really help) which will basically pay for his 3 years almost fully and 2 years he will have to pay around 20K or take a loan ( we are from same country). He asked for reconsideration of his aid package , you need to ask ,too. Even a few thousands will be a great addition!
@interapp Drexel isn’t too great for my major choice, which is Physics. So I’m not too inclined on going either. I’ll probably take a gap year.
ACCEPTED SO SHOCKED because my stats are gross but gpa: 3.77 sat: 1290. i had very strongs essays and ECs, prob strong recs and i only got 2 Bs. I guess laf cares more about the whole student!
