Lafayette vs U Richmond vs George Washington

The revisits narrowed my choices to these three. Thoughts?

Costs?

What do you want to study? Also, frat parties or nah?

My net costs will be just about equal across the 3. All 3 also have Greek life, although less intense at Lafayette and GW I think.

Richmond or GW. There a bit better than lafayette across the board in my opinion. If its business, go to Richmond.

If all cost roughly the same, URichmond if Greek Life/preppy doesn’t bother you, GWU if it does and you want a less “traditional” community.

What do you want from college life? GWU is a large research university with more graduate students than undergrads; the focus of the university is going to be more holistic, and undergrads are just one piece of the puzzle (and potentially a small one). There’s also a medium-sized undergrad population, and it’s got a sort of less-traditional campus in the middle of DC. Lafayette and Richmond both are smaller LACs with more traditional campuses and a different kind of student life - Greek life is big at both schools (over 40% of Lafayette students join a Greek organization), and Lafayette has the athletic rivalry with Lehigh. I sense that school spirit is high at both schools (although perhaps higher at Lafayette). URichmond does have more of a preppy kind of vibe to it.

It depends on what kind of student life you want, IMO. You can get a good education at any, although Richmond does have an edge in business if that’s your goal.
