Lament the snow in Texas! CB is apparently rescheduling many Texan tests!

So, as you Texans know, it's snowing reasonably heavily for Texas. So schools are closing and many districts are not allowing schools to be open for the snow. My school was informed by CB that the tests will be rescheduled for December 19th- a stupid day as a) it's during Christmas break and b) many people are on vacation. What's your take on this? Are you annoyed like me because this was your last chance for a good grade? VENT!

i’m very relieved actually! i don’t celebrate christmas, so it won’t really affect me. also, if i get accepted by my ED school i won’t feel any pressure when i take them.

i’m taking subject tests, btw

I celebrate Christmas, but that’s not the problem- I’m on a plane the day they want to change it to (December 19th). It’s pretty ridiculous really, I’m hoping to test on Sunday December 20th, I’m hoping they’ll let me, even though it’s not for religious reasons.

you should be glad you get a “Christmas” break. i have to go to school the day before Christmas Eve. jw do you go to a private or public school?

You should all be grateful!
That’s an extra week of SAT cramming!

^not if they are unable to take the test on that day due to vacation or other reasons, which is why the thread was posted. Were you offered a refund by any chance?

I don’t know- they haven’t even contacted anyone yet. If you go to “SAT test center closings” and go to Texas, you can see how many test centers were shut down, it’s not just my test center. It’s really, really annoying that this happened so close to college applications.

It snows from september to may over here.

Why can’t they stop everything
