Lang test problem!

Hi,
I signed up to take the French with listening test in November along with 2 other subject tests. Now I have realized that I really do not want to take the french one. Should I say that I just didn't bring my cd player? Has any one taken a language test before? I just want to make sure it will be okay to just decide not to take the french test. Thanks!

You can just tell them before the test that you are dropping the French test. There is no problem with dropping tests, except you don't get your money back. On a side note, I might be doing the same thing, as I don't seem to be as ready for the test as I thought.

From Collegeboard Site:

"If you are registered for a listening test and you change your mind on test day you may substitute a different Subject Test, but you may not change to a listening test in a different language at the test center. You cannot also decide to switch from a non-listening test to a listening test at the test center. If you want to change to a different listening test, or if you want to change from one listening test to another, you must do so by the late registration deadline date. See Making Changes."

So what you want to do is fine, you can either just drop it or take another test. It would only be a problem if you decided that you did want to take the listening test and weren't signed up for it.

I also have the problem with language test...i didn't want to start a new thread. so i will ask here.

i signed up for regular sat, but i realized that language with listening is only offered in nov, so is it too late to change my SAT test to SATII language test?
