I was on Temple's Web Site a few days ago and i came across something that said you had to take a language at temple, in order to graduate, no matter what your major is? Is this 100% true? I was under the impression you didn't have to take a language at all.?

If you are fluent in a language other than English you can get out of taking the minimum language requirements, otherwise you have to take 2 language OR international studies courses.

I think they value it really highly... I had around a 3.3 or 3.4 and a 1100 sat. i had the ultimate ec list and didn't get in. I think it's because I dropped Spanish after 8th grade and didn't take the regents (state mandated final) in it after 10th grade. I figured they would over look it, but definelely not. Big mistake on my part.

study abroad counts as a language - heard that at orientation
