<p>I was reading through the orientation info, and it said that we need to take placement exams for chem and language (Spanish for me). Are these hard? Would I need to study?</p>

<p>i bombed the chem exam, but you should be fine considering you took ap chem.
and spanish test isn’t that bad. you definitely get out of the language requirement.</p>
<p>the chem placement exam is a joke. i did all but two questions before realizing there was a periodic table on the front. the placement isn’t enforced so you can still choose to take 130 if you place into 210.</p>
<p>If you took AP Span you should place out fine. I never took an AP Span class, and when I showed up for the test, I hadn’t taken a Spanish class in 2 years. Placed out of all 4 semesters.</p>
