Language classes dilemma?

This might sound stupid, but I recently discovered that Spanish 202 is the equivalent of Spanish 4, not Spanish 2. (I thought Spanish 201 would be culture or something...) Anyway, because of this, I have realized that I will have to take two Spanish courses in college. Since my major is already making my schedule crammed, I will barely, if at all, have room for Spanish 201.

Because of this, I was thinking about taking Spanish 3 at school. I only have until Tuesday to switch into it. However, the period I would be switching out of would be AP Lit. The teacher of AP Lit. is not crazy about people switching out of her class because there are so few people in it. Not only that, but it would look really bad on my college transcript that I had switched out of an AP.

I really like my AP Lit. class; I really do. However, I really don't want to have to cram an extra class into college. Plus, the people in Spanish just goof around half the time, and we barely get anything done. I don't know what to do. Please help?

Forgot to add this: would you suggest taking a summer coure in Spanish three/Spanish 201 instead?

I’m not entirely sure what you’re asking …

So, if you HAVE to take Spanish at your high school I don’t really see how you can avoid switching out of lit unless you take the summer course.

Are you in dual enrollment?

If I were you I’d take the spanish in the summer.
