<p>Is it required that i take a language course? I have taken 3 years of chinese in high school already. If i am required do i need to take the placement test and do i need to take it because of the GE requirements?</p>
<p>3 years in high school satisfies the language GE requirement. If you want to continue Chinese though, you have to take a placement test.</p>
