anyone want to talk about the language house? facts, perceptions, your own personal stereotypes? do you know anyone in it?

for the asian languages, it's mostly nerdy white people obsessed with asian culture. I got a friend who lives in the Chinese one and he tells me that's mostly what it is.

anyone else?

dont they have all languages together in one house/?

yeah they're all in boldt hall. I think they have their own separate floors or something. obviously you can meet people in the other language houses but the whole point is to force yourself into immersion in the particular language that you signed up for.

Part of the language house is in Alice Cook which is a really nice dorm....cause its new

the rooms in boldt are nice and spacious but the bathrooms are cramped and a bit on the disgusting side. though you're technically supposed to speak only the language you signed up for, plenty of the participants still speak english.
