Language or Newspaper

What would be a better class to take? I'm in Spanish 3 right now. Most of the languages are notorious for being really hard and having few people with A's. Luckily I'm one of those people who have an A. I think it'd be really good if I continue with Spanish 4. AP Spanish is Spanish 5. So I would be "stuck" with 2 more years of Spanish. I kind of like Spanish. It's a fun thing to learn. And many people I know are going to take it.

However my EC's are really lacking. If you take Newspaper Journalism then you would automatically be put into the School Newspaper. That would be a good EC for anyone. Also I like writing. I think it's fun. But most of the people in that class are like preppy girls. I'm a shy nerd so I dont' know if I should take it or not.

So what would be better to take? Thanks

Take at least Spanish 5. Colleges want to see that you've gone through at least three years of foreign language. 3-4 recommended.

I would like a clarification if it's three years of a foreign language during high school or up to level 3. This might be weird if your foreign language credit appears from your junior high transcript.

Anyway does anyone know?

Contact the schools you're interested in or search their websites for the recommended no. of foreign language. It's usually 3-4 for the rule.

But Newspaper Journalism would be good too though. I could get an EC.
