Hi, I'm an admitted LSA transfer for Fall 2014 and will be taking the Russian placement test at orientation. I was only able to take the first year (101 and 102) at my first school so I will have to complete the requirement at U of M. My main concern is I took them my freshman year and I am now a sophomore and wondering how intensively I should review. Any info on the length, material, or sections the tests are broken up in to? Any info from any language test would suffice. Thanks!

Same here! Taking Russ 231 or something like that (Intermediate Russian I) and I’m not sure if I should try to palce out of it, but I’m going to be in the RC so I’ll have to take an intensive class anyway. I’m sure you can study another language if you’re worried about receiving “hard work”. If you have the language credits, I’m sure you’d be fine. I hear the tests are multiple choice!

@productrule good to know, thanks so much! I’m not so much worried about the work of an upper level course work if/when I’ll be taking it, just that if I score too low they won’t let continue and I’ll have to repeat a course :S
