Language Proficiency for Huntsman?

<p>Hey guys,</p>

<p>So for the huntsman portion of the UPenn app, I put Hindi as my target language. I don't believe that there is an SAT II available for Hindi. Therefore, how would UPenn make me prove my profiency. I've heard that they have their own tests for Russian, Arabic, and Hindi?</p>

<p>Therefore, would I give these tests AFTER and if I get admitted (and that's a big if) or would they arrange this test through an interviewer in India (the country from which I'm applying, though I'm a US citizen)?</p>

<p>I am not too sure about this, but here’s my 2 cent. I know that a friend asked a similar question to a upenn admissions officer, and he was putting hindi as target language as well. I think offered in his region that he lived in was a “hindi proficiency test” (something similar to TOEFL), and he took the test to substitute the SAT 2 test. :slight_smile: good luck!</p>
