<p>That said, yes, Chinese is grammatically less complicated than most languages. There's a reason why Chinese immigrants always have trouble with conjugating verbs in English. Conjugations literally do not exist in the language. You figure out the order of things based on supporting clauses. The downside is, of course, the characters. I don't know how easy it is to learn pronunciation from pinyin. There is another method to learn, only I forget what it's called. Lol. I wonder what they teach at Princeton. </p>
<p>I can't judge the easiness of learning Japanese, because I do not know the language, but I will say that whatever language you pick, you can not go wrong. Both are very useful in the international markets.</p>
