language requirement, simple schedule

Hi guys!

Can you tell me how international students place out from language requirement if they don't take placement tests? In other words, is it sufficient to be just an international, and you will be allowed not to take the language course for the fall semester?

Furthermore, can you give me an idea of a simple schedule of freshman, who plans to major in economics?

Thank you gibby!

Any other ideas? Particularly, is it recommended to take EC 10 during the fall semester? What is the level of the course load of that class?

Concentrating in econ, everyone is more than welcome. I hope you can help.
