Language Requirements for Grad School

I'm looking into applying for the Masters program in comparative literature at Dartmouth.

On their admissions page, they list that applicants are required to have:
"Fluent reading, writing, and speaking knowledge of one foreign language"
and
"Beginning training in a second foreign language"

I have a good reading/writing level of classical Latin, and will be taking either beginning German or French both semesters of my senior year of undergrad. Do you think I meet these requirements?

I answered this in the forum where you first posted it. In a nutshell, look at the faculty: there are a couple of profs who are in both the Classics and Comp Lit depts (although they have multiple modern languages also). Why not email one of them and ask?
