Hello, I am a high school junior, curious of language admissions. I, in my infinite freshman wisdom, did not take a language course and began in my 10th grade year. This leads me to a maximum of 3 years of a foreign language. Does this void me of admissions into ivy league universities which say, "4 years of a language reccommended"?

RECOMENDED

it will put you at a disadvantage but you can make up for it with advancement in other areas. Most high-level universities say that you can come up short in a recommendation for one subject if you go past the recommendation for another. So if it recommends four years of social studies just take five and you should be good.

Do you already read, write and speak a language besides English?
