Hey I'm a Junior in high school and I took Chinese 1 freshman year and just passed with a D- and Sophomore year I took Spanish 2 and averaged a C+, to prevent myself from hurting my GPA anymore and because my school only offered Spanish 3 honors not regular I did not take a language this year and don't plan on taking one next year. If I want to apply to a school that requires 3 years of a language would the fact that it was Spanish two count it as 2 years of Spanish because I was proficient enough to go straight to Spanish 2? and if not, how should I go about fulfilling the language requirement without changing my schedule for senior year?

I can’t see how you do it. Selective colleges want students who push themselves and excel. That’s why not all colleges have 3-yr language requirements.
