Hi guys. I already can speak two languages fluently. Do I have to take a language class in high school? My junior year, I got a little scared and took spanish 1. i will have two years of spanish.
Do I really need it?
Thanks. Quick question.

good colleges wanna see 4 years of a language.

^good colleges want to see a rigorous schedule. That may or may not translate into taking 4 years of a foreign language. Talk with your high school counselor, and if you already have a safety school in mind, talk with someone there who’ll tell you the minimum requirements for admission.

I’m not sure whether your question is:
Should I take Spanish 2? OR
Should I choose not to apply to reach schools because I know they’ll reject me with only two years of a foreign language?

My advice:
Take Spanish 2. Consider taking the subject test (if there is one) for your language other than English to demonstrate your language fluency (in November, you can choose to take it with or without listening). Check the Common Data Set for your chosen colleges to see the number of years of foreign language that they require and the number they recommend.
