Language Subject Test for Native Speaker

Is there a point to taking a Language Subject Test if that language is your native language?

In my case, taking Spanish. I've taken practice tests and my brother took it and scored an 800. Said it was extremely easy.

Is there any point to taking it? I hear colleges ignore it if it's your native language.

thanks,
ansar

it probably wouldn't help you as much as, say, english literature or one of the histories. it would look a bit better if you took something else. then again, if you think that you'd certainly do better on it than any other humanities course, you should probably take it.
