Language Subject Test?

From the Upenn website:

-Students applying to the College are encouraged to take a foreign language Subject Test. This test is used for both admissions and proper placement at the college level. Appropriate language scores also afford exemption from the language requirement.

How much do you think it’ll affect your chances if you didn’t take one? Are there any current Upenn (or specifically wharton) students who were admitted even though they didn’t take one?

There definietly are. Someone had asked a question similar to this before. I think the language tests are just for placement.

It's not manditory

I didn't take one.

It is recommended and you'll need to demonstrate language proficiency anyway. I would recommend you get it over with not.

I didn't take one... I just took the language placement test when I got there.
