language subject tests?

What is the difference between say french and french with listening?
Other than the listening, is one easier or does one look better on college apps?

bump 10 char

So nobody on this site takes a language…?

listening looks better on college applications.
but then you risk looking like a native, and if you get above 700 they’ll expect you to take high-intermediate language classes.

It isn’t necessarily harder if you had sufficient exposure to spoken language, it should be absolutely no problem. The reading passages are just LONG. thats the only thing that bothered me. good look.

P.S. NORCAL PRIDE!!!
CALI PRIDE!!!

Erm, I took korean w/ listening. I didn’t think they offered just the language and w/out the listening section. It’s not that hard. Not sure what looks better though.

But + listening means its more? So I’d go for French + Listening.

I believe listening is only offered in November?, so make sure you take that into account when making fall testing plans.
