I got an email from the school saying that if my major required a language and i didn't do the 4 semesters or the 2 years in High School that i'd need to take a placement test.

The only thing is that i've done 2 semesters at my CC already and my counsler said all i'd have to do is go there and take the next 2 semesters. The email was addressed to mostly freshman...so...

Does that mean I take a placement test? I'd rather not because you know once you take the final it kinda goes out the window but...I wouldn't wanna be placed in lvl 1 either...

b. usually you do not take the placement test unless you want to, you just take the next college level course.

So for example, lets use UCLA. I completed Russian 1,2,3,4 prior to transfer at my CC, that is equal to UCLA russian 1,2,3,4,5 (quarter system) and i can enroll in Russian 6 without taking any sort of placement exam, if i wanted to enroll in Russian 101 though, i would need to take the placement exam to see if i can skip russian 6.

B. That helped a bunch. Thankies very much. So relieved because everyone was telling me to study for Vietnamese again. I was lyke @@ Whyyyyyy?!
